Commmercial Real Estate in Sedona continues to HEAT UP!

The near future of commercial Sedona real estate is booming and points to continued growth and expansion in Sedona.  For as we all know, when business people and commercial developers make decisions about expansion, they do plenty of background work to make sure that their investment is going to bring them the highest possible return. This "due diligence" makes them far more knowledgeable than the average real estate buyer and seller of the economic prospects for a given community so I see it as a bellwether for the town - if the developers are acting, it's a sign of confidence in the future prospects of the area. The commercial development leads and the residents follow.

The West Sedona developments that come to mind as a sign of our area's rosy future are things such as the new Marriott hotel, the redevelopment of the former Troia's restaurant, the planned CVS at Airport Road and 89A, the newly opened Mariposa Restaurant by Lisa Dahl, the expansion of Whole Foods after their acquisition of New Frontiers, a new fabulous cold pressed juice bar called Local Juice, a soon to open Paleo food restaurant, Karma Cafe, Sedona Float, the expansion of Tlaquepaque, a new Chipotle restaurant, and the major remodel of the Old Toucan/John of God building on SR 179 next to the Chevron in the Village.

The former Troia's is to be a new Starbucks that will be serving food as a new prototype ... and what a redevelopment it will be; the building has been taken down to the studs and even the parking lot has been torn up to be repaved. You have to wonder what the profit margin is on a cup of coffee!

Out in The VOC, the word is that the Old Toucan is to be a new steak house with the front addition being patio dining to enjoy the views of Bell Rock and Courthouse Rock. When that restaurant opens, it will be the second new fine dining establishment to open in the neighborhood within the year, the first being The Schoolhouse.

All in All it is clear that developers are investing in the Sedona Real Estate Market and that continued trend will help drive Sedona Homes for Sales even higher.  For all  your real estate needs email, call or text me at 928-301-0669.
