Like the lower priced homes these seller's have had to readjust their thinking to the reality of today's market. And we are finally seeing some life in that sector with the return of high-end buyer's in search of luxury homes as well as lots. The median sold price per square foot for a luxury property (which is over $1 Million) is now at $287 per square foot. Compare that with the 2006 price of $336 a foot and you can see how much the luxury homes have dropped. I have never done that again and never will ( my phone will be on vibrate on Christmas but will be on), but the holidays can be a great time to buy in Sedona. Many people are visiting Sedona over the holidays and I have had many buyer's visit during the Christmas week with the intention of buying a Sedona AZ Home. So seller's keep the home fires burning, make the place look good - for you never know - the old bearded one (Santa) could bring you a buyer to your front door.
