  • NEVER SEND WIRE TRANSFER OR ANY SENSITIVE INFORMATION VIA EMAIL.  (If a situation arises where email is your only option, be sure to encrypt the message.
  • VERIFICATION OF ALL SENSITIVE INFORMATION SHOULD ALWAYS BEEN DONE VERBALLY -I.E. A PHONE CALL
  • DONT TRUST CONTACT INFORMATION EMBEDDED IN EMAIL SIGNATURES.  (Instead, dig out actual business cards or manually enter contact details into your address book.

How long to keep Recordation of Home Sale Documents?

Arizona law requires that real estate brokers keep records of all real estate sales for at least five years, but there is no Arizona law requiring sellers to keep records of real estate sales.
  A reasonable period of time for a seller to keep all of the home sale documents would not be longer than the five years required for real estate brokers. So you have found your Sedona Home - Congrats!  So if you are getting a loan on that Sedona home watch your credit.  Sure you know about the important of a good credit score, but do you know that mortgage companies look at other details in your credit history?  Avoid triggering these red flags.  

Don't apply for multiple credit cards or credit accounts in a short period of time, and don't apply for any prior to applying for your mortgage or prior to closing on your Sedona home loan.
