Is it legal for Sellers to do Vacation Rentals or AIRBNB in Sedona Real Estate

Well, is often the case, many buyers purchase a home in Sedona thinking they legally can do a vacation rental or can advertise it on AIRBNB.  Well Buyer's THINK Again. That is just not the case when you purchase a home in the Sedona Real Estate Market.  There are laws on the books and there are subdivision laws which clearly states the time limits set.  And since much of Sedona is located outside of the City Limits - the County Rules Reign.  Yavapai County has many of the same rules as the City of Sedona, while Coconino County ( Oak Creek Canyon Homes) has revised their laws to be more lenient to short term rentals.  When buying a home for sale in Sedona - do you due diligence!  Call the city, call the county!  And hire a great realtor to guide you in the process.  For all your buying and selling needs in the Sedona Real Estate Market - please text, call, or email me here. Happy Thanksgiving to All.
